Mission Statement

The Gryphon Gazette is Crystal Springs Uplands School’s student-run newspaper. Our mission is to provide student writers with the opportunity to explore the field of journalism in a trusting and collegial environment. All students are encouraged to pursue topics that interest them and supply the community with relevant and insightful articles that reflect the diverse interests and experiences of the student body as well as those of the broader Crystal community.

Policy

Articles published in the Gryphon Gazette reflect the views of the writer, but not necessarily those of the staff, editors, or administration of Crystal Springs Uplands School. The Gazette does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, or national and ethnic origin. We aim to publish a diverse selection of stories on a wide variety of topics, while striving to maintain a high standard of ethics and professionalism. We reserve the right to withhold publication of articles that do not align with our values.
